MIAMI, April 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MasTec, Inc. (NYSE: MTZ) today announced it has named J. Marc Lewis as Vice President-Investor Relations.

Mr. Lewis will fill the newly created position of Vice President-Investor Relations to better serve the needs of current and prospective shareholders, institutional investors and other MasTec stakeholders. Mr. Lewis most recently served as a consultant with Enersect Corporation, a private merchant banking group, and previously was Vice President of Investor Relations with Harken Energy Corporation, an independent oil and gas exploration company, based in Houston. His initial focus will be on building a broader institutional investor base and finding more efficient ways to service investors.
